A qualified elder is no better in God’s judgment than should be every member of the church of the Lord. We list the following scriptures for your consideration.

Brethren, we urge you to study the above that we may all “prove ourselves, whether we be in the faith.” Do you meet all the qualifications for a church member? If not, won’t you start now to do everything in your power to meet them? What would you think of an elder who refused to attend the Lord’s Day Bible classes? Do you attend?
